The service was really fast. The food was amazing. 10/10 for me. The decor was beautiful. A nice breeze of cool air, and the waiters are so nice and always have a smile on their faces.

More than just a meal but an experience. The service, presentation, and atmosphere here are all examples of what run of the mill sushi joints are not. Kaiju has perfected all three of these. It's trite but true: I think they have ruined every other place for me and I will happily drive to Ventura Blvd again and again for them. Hopefully pictures do justice to the sheer poetry of some of the dishes we tried; on top of that truly fresh fish that is actually the fish they say it is. Truly world class I can't wait to return!

Provender: a great sushi spot in Sherman Oaks. The nigiri tasted fresh and the sashimi was generous. The presentation was also fantastic, making it a wonderful experience. Prices: typical for sushi restaurants on Ventura Blvd. Parking: your best bet is to valet your car. Enter on Benedict Canyon Drive. Valet is about $5. People: fun for all. Perks: they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating includes tables and the sushi bar. Staff and chefs were very friendly.

Omg! I cannot with this place, a hidden gem in Sherman oaks. Such a vibe I was walking by and found this restaurant since I was in a mood for some sushi and it did not disappoint. I ordered toro sushi it legit buttered in my mouth! The yellowtail carpaccio was one of my server's recommendations and it was rich in flavor. I was also able to make my own handrolls and I finished off with a strawberry macaron! Overall I would give this place a 10 star if I could. Beatriz my server was so nice, all her recommendations were on point and I would definitely be coming back.

Kaiju is a gorgeous looking sushi restaurant on the famous Ventura Blvd. The ambience is great and I had a nice table and whole corner area to myself. I also had the Owner personally take my order and serve my dinner. The Nigiri and handrolls were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Toro, Snapper Nigiri and crab handroll. The owner told me "Kaiju means dragon monster. Fun, classy sushi restaurant with great food, people and ambience. Highly recommended.

A little but cute place, which definitely is a " Must Visit"! The Ambience is nice, but can be a very loud and busy place. The "Portobello Mushroom" was absolutely delicious! I do not mind eating that plate over and over again. The food tastes and looks really good. The service also is good, there were some little issues in the beginning but I totally understand, because they were really busy... but they did their best and the team work was awesome!

Located on the corner of Ventura Blvd. Reservations are recommended. We had made reservations and still waiting about 10min for the table to be ready, which is not bad for a Friday night. Service: 5/5. Our waitress was very attentive, giving us recommendations and checking to see if we needed anything. Prices are also very reasonable. Specialty rolls are in the pricier side, over $20 for some. Everything we tried off the menu were good, fresh and flavorful. Don't go hungry because you will want to try everything and then take most of it home to go lol. I recommend the spicy tuna on crispy rice and albacore with crispy onions. The crab cut roll was also really good. I would definitely come back and try other menu items.
